Job summary

ECG Electrical is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer to drive the technical direction of our renewable-energy operations across the ACT and Queensland. You will provide engineering leadership for solar PV, battery storage and electrification projects, translating complex requirements into repeatable, scalable designs and automated processes.

Qualifications

• Recognised qualification in electrical engineering.
• Experience in Australian solar/battery industry.
• Strong IT knowledge and experience with business software and integrations.
• Experience designing or reviewing residential/commercial renewable-energy systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical design and review of solar PV and battery systems.
• Review layouts, equipment selections, single-line diagrams and network connections.
• Develop standardised engineering and design processes across the business.
• Provide technical support for complex installations and issue resolution.
• Automate preparation of solar, battery and electrification proposals.
• Integrate platforms such as CRM and design software to reduce manual work.
