Job summary

Applidyne in Adelaide, South Australia, seeks a Graduate Design Engineer to join our engineering team. You will contribute to detailed engineering design, from concept through to production, under the guidance of senior engineers.

Qualifications

• Higher level tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or a similar discipline, with some work history.
• Aptitude for design and graduating by year end.

Responsibilities

• Participation in concept generation and assistance in meeting system requirements.
• 3D CAD modelling of parts and assemblies of complex systems.
• Detailed design, including manufacturing drawings.
• Analysis and design activities to support the process.
• Designing and conducting research and testing to support development.
• Setting to work and testing of prototypes.
• Liaison with manufacturers to assist production readiness.
• Preparing technical reports for design reviews, failure investigations and feasibility studies.
