Job summary

Ferrovial Construction UK is seeking a Graduate Design Engineer to help deliver the Calvert HS2 Maintenance Depot. The two-year graduate programme develops personal, professional and technical skills under design managers and site teams.

The role is based in London for the initial period, with potential site attendance at Calvert thereafter. You will engage in multidisciplinary design activities and maintain high standards of safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Must have a degree or master's in engineering.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Proactive, analytical and problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of the Calvert Infrastructure Maintenance Depot (IMD).
• Collaborate with engineers, architects and other professionals on design solutions.
• Assist with RFIs and project documentation control.
• Support design workshops, coordination meetings and project reviews.
• Promote health and safety compliance and quality on site.
