BMD Group in New South Wales is seeking an experienced Design Engineer to join our NSW team. You’ll work with the Design Manager and delivery teams to manage design interfaces and support delivery of complex Design & Construct projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in design & construct project delivery.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Ability to manage design consultants and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate design delivery from external consultants.
• Support project teams through all phases of project development and delivery.
• Facilitate collaboration between construction teams, clients and design partners.
• Monitor design risks, opportunities and innovations.
• Manage RFIs, design queries, variation registers and design change processes.
• Facilitate design meetings and stakeholder coordination.
• Assist with tender submissions and project pursuits.
• Contribute to design management best practice across the business.
• Provide technical input into constructability, methodology and project planning activities.
