Job summary

CrowdStrike is launching a University Recruiting program in Melbourne to train graduates for six months as cybersecurity analysts in a world-class SOC. You’ll work on real threats, gain hands-on experience with CrowdStrike’s AI-native platform, and be mentored by seasoned professionals.

The program targets students and recent grads with a strong foundation in information security and a desire to grow both technically and professionally.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of cyber security related experience.
• Fundamental understanding of information security.
• Fundamental understanding of operating systems.
• Fundamental understanding of network communications.
• Desire to grow and expand technical and business skills.
• Graduated no later than 30 Jan 2026.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Security, Information Assurance, Information Security Management, Intelligence Studies, Cybersecurity, Cybersecurity Policy, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Deliver clear, concise, and professional customer communications as the primary first point of contact.
• Produce high-quality written and verbal communications, recommendations, and findings to customers and internally.
• Triage, investigate, and respond to security alerts across endpoint, identity, email, and cloud environments.
• Conduct tactical analysis of EDR telemetry, log sources, and forensic artifacts to identify the scope of compromise and support remediation efforts.
• Develop and improve processes for incident detection and the execution of countermeasures.
