Job summary

Greatland is seeking a Civil Engineering Graduate to join the Open Pit Geotechnical team at Telfer, WA, for a 2-year fixed-term program on an 8/6 FIFO roster from Perth. You will contribute to day-to-day activities and development opportunities designed to bridge study to industry.

You will work with experienced professionals, gain hands-on experience in geotechnical modelling and monitoring, and grow your technical and safety competencies in a dynamic mining environment.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate with a Civil Engineering degree and eagerness to apply theory to mining.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Developed analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently when required.
• Familiar with MS Office; knowledge of Deswick or RocScience is desirable.

As a Geotechnical Engineer Graduate, you will join the Open Pit Geotechnical team at Telfer and gain valuable hands‑on experience while supporting the delivery of business objectives. Additionally, You Will Have

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering (or equivalent)
• Manual C class driver licence
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
