Job summary

Greatland Resources Limited offers a Civil Geotechnical Engineer Graduate program based at Telfer, WA, commencing February 2027. This 2-year fixed-term, full-time role operates on an 8/6 FIFO roster from Perth and provides exposure to the Open Pit Geotechnical team.

You will work with experienced professionals, contribute to safety, learning portfolios and development goals while supporting ground stability assessments, rock mass modelling, and monitoring systems for open pit and tailings

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (or equivalent).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Organisational and time management abilities.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with practical applications.
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
• Proficiency in MS Office or equivalent.
• Knowledge of geotechnical modelling and slope design desirable.
• Experience via internship or vacation work is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to day-to-day team activities and deliver work to standard and timeframes.
• Demonstrate safety commitment and contribute to a positive safety culture.
• Build relationships with team members and stakeholders.
• Assist in geotechnical observation, modelling and data assessment.
• Support monitoring of open pit and tailings facilities.
• Contribute to projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop your Graduate Portfolio and complete development goals.
