The City of Stirling is seeking a recent accounting graduate or early-career finance professional to join its Finance Rotational Graduate Program. You’ll gain hands-on experience across budgeting, financial planning, reporting and decision-making within a large local government.

With dedicated mentoring and support towards CA ANZ or CPA studies, you’ll build practical commercial financial expertise while contributing to services that benefit our community. The program runs for up to two years.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
• Strong Excel skills and MS 365 proficiency.
• Willingness to learn and develop professionally.

Aufgaben

• Support day-to-day accounting activities including reconciliations, journals, accounts payable and receivable processing.
• Assist with financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Analyse financial data and identify trends and anomalies using modern reporting tools.
• Contribute to asset accounting, procurement, audit and risk management initiatives.
• Build relationships across the organisation and support internal stakeholders.
• Participate in ongoing learning, mentoring and professional development opportunities.
