Job summary

Downer is expanding its Maintenance & ITS footprint in South Australia and seeks a skilled Grader Operator to join the team in Murray Bridge. You will contribute to civil construction and road maintenance across regional networks, working with a safety-focused culture and supportive team.

Ideal candidates will have grader experience, a valid HR Licence with White Card, and be capable of working independently while collaborating with others to keep roads safe and well-maintained.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a grader is essential.
• Hold a current HR Licence and White Card (General Construction Induction).
• Experience operating skid steers, excavators or backhoes is advantageous.

Downer's Maintenance & ITS business is proud to be expanding its footprint across South Australia, delivering vital road and asset maintenance and construction services across the Barossa, Riverland and South East Regions, covering approximately 5,600 km of sealed road network. It's an exciting time to be part of a team that's delivering these critical works across the state. We are currently seeking a skilled Grader Operator with experience in civil construction or road maintenance to join our team based at Murray Bridge.

About you

• Experienced in Grader operation
• Hold a current HR Licence and White Card (General Construction Induction)
• Experience operating Skid Steers, Excavators or Backhoes (advantageous)
• Background in road maintenance, road resurfacing or civil construction (preferred)
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• A strong team player with a collaborative approach
• Committed to maintaining a Zero Harm safety culture
