Job summary

Downer Murray Bridge is seeking a Road Worker to support road maintenance and hazard/emergency response duties across regional South Australia. The role is outdoors, hands-on and requires an MR/HR licence and a strong commitment to safety.

You will operate mobile plant and equipment, and you should hold or be prepared to obtain a Construction Induction / White Card and Traffic Control tickets. Availability for night shifts, call-outs and weekends is important.

Qualifications

• Construction Induction / White Card is essential.
• Current Traffic Control tickets are highly regarded.
• Proven ability to operate mobile plant, machinery and equipment in road maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver road maintenance and hazard/emergency response commitments.
• Assist with day-to-day road network maintenance in Murray Bridge and regional SA.
• Maintain safety standards and contribute to a safe road network.

Road Worker

We are currently looking for a Road Worker to assist with successfully delivering Road Maintenance, Hazard / Emergency Response commitments based in Murray Bridge. This role will suit individuals who enjoy working outdoors and travelling in regional SA to undertake a variety of different activities to a high standard and with a high regard for safety.

About you

• A strong motivation to help our community through quality maintenance practices
• Construction Induction / White Card (essential)
• Current Traffic Control tickets (highly regarded)
• Proven ability in the operation of mobile plant, machinery and equipment, particularly within the road maintenance and pavement industry
• Availability to work night shift, emergency call outs, and weekends when required
• Proficient with technology, including the use of tablets and smartphones
