Job summary

Workpac Group is seeking a skilled Grader Operator to join the Torro Mud Farming Project in Far North Queensland. You will operate graders on large-scale civil earthworks, maintain haul and access roads, and conduct pre-start inspections.

This role offers a 2/1 roster with day shifts, flights from Brisbane or Cairns, up to 6 hours paid travel time per swing, camp accommodation and meals, and the chance to contribute to a major regional project.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating graders in civil/construction/mining environments.
• Experience in bulk earthworks and road construction.
• GPS experience preferred.
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening.
• Current driver’s licence.
• Full Australian working rights.

About Our Client

Our client is delivering the Torro Mud Farming Project, a major civil construction project in Far North Queensland. This project plays a key role in supporting ongoing site operations through large-scale earthworks and land development activities.

What You Will Be Doing

• Operating graders on a large-scale civil earthworks project
• Maintaining haul roads, access roads, and work areas
• Completing bulk earthworks and final trim activities
• Conducting pre-start inspections and routine equipment checks
• Working safely in accordance with site procedures and project requirements
• Supporting project milestones through efficient equipment operation

What You Will Need

• Proven experience operating graders in a civil, construction, or mining environment

• GPS experience highly regarded
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
