Job summary

Randstad is seeking an experienced Grader Operator to join a construction project in the Pilbara for an immediate start. The role focuses on bulk earthworks and haul road maintenance.

You will operate graders with a strong safety mindset, with 11.5 hour days on a 2:1 roster. GPS experience is advantageous but not required, and on-site camp facilities are provided.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Operator with the appropriate tickets.
• Valid Driver's license and White Card.
• Valid 4WD ticket or willingness to obtain.
• Willing to be flexible and operate other machines when required.
• Pre-employment medical check including drug and alcohol screening

Responsibilities

• Operate grader on bulk earthworks for a Salt mine site.
• Focus on haul road maintenance with strong grader experience.
• Drive reliable and well-maintained equipment.
• Work independently in outdoor environments.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to be part of the team who will spend the next 18 months delivering a construction project in the Pilbara. Randstad are looking for experienced Grader Operator for an immediate start.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the operation of plant equipment, possess a keen eye for safety, and be capable of working in diverse environments and conditions within the construction and resources industry,

This role is an ongoing position to start immediately,

The Role:

• Looking for Grader Operator
• 2:1 roster - 11.5 hour days
• $47.71 per hour (Plus penalties)
• Doing bulk earthworks for a Salt mine site
• Work will be focused on haul road maintenance, so strong grader operating experience is a must.
• GPS experience isn't essential but would definitely be an advantage.
• Drive reliable and well maintained equipment
• Ability to work independently
• Outdoor environmental exposure

To apply you will need:

• Previous experience as an Operator is required along with the appropriate tickets to operate the machines, a valid white card and driver's license is also required. You will need to be safety conscious, physically fit and capable of completing manual tasks.

• Willing to be flexible and operate other machines when required
• Willing to undertake a pre-employment medical check which includes drug and alcohol screening
