Job summary

TKR Plant Hire is seeking an experienced Grader Operator to join our team in Brisbane. The role involves operating a grader safely and efficiently to complete earthworks, trimming, spreading and finishing activities in line with project specifications. GPS/UTS experience is preferred for this position.

We are looking for a skilled and reliable operator who can work independently and as part of a team on active construction sites. Competitive pay and long-term opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Certification/ticket as Grader Operator is required.
• Experience operating graders on civil construction or resource projects.
• GPS/UTS experience preferred.
• Knowledge of grading, trimming and finishing operations.
• Knowledge of safe plant operation and site procedures.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Ability to work independently and reliably.

Responsibilities

• Operate a grader safely to complete works per site requirements and project specifications.
• Utilise GPS/UTS systems to achieve required levels, grades and tolerances.
• Conduct pre-start inspections and routine maintenance checks.
• Follow all safety procedures, site requirements and SWMS.
• Communicate effectively with site supervisors, other operators and site personnel.
• Complete work to the required standards and specifications.
• Maintain accurate work records and report faults, damage or maintenance needs.
• Maintain a clean, safe and presentable machine and work environment.
• Complete online and site inductions as required.
