Job summary

WorkPac Group is seeking an experienced GPS Excavator Operator to join our civil earthworks projects across Brisbane. The role requires operating GPS-equipped excavators, performing bulk earthworks, trenching, and maintaining precise site levels.

Applicants must have 2+ years of GPS excavator experience, an Excavator Ticket, White Card, and a valid driver’s licence. Immediate starts available with travel allowances provided as part of the package.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' recent GPS excavator operating experience.
• Current Excavator Ticket.
• Current Construction White Card.
• Current Driver's Licence and reliable transport.
• Multiskilled experience highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Operating 3050 tonne Komatsu excavators fitted with GPS.
• Performing bulk earthworks, detailed excavation, final trim and trenching.
• Placing, spreading, levelling and stockpiling soil, rock and rubble.
• Working safely around underground services and existing infrastructure.
• Maintaining accurate excavation levels and site specifications.

About the Client

Our Client is a well-established civil construction contractor delivering large-scale earthworks and infrastructure projects across Brisbane. They are seeking experienced GPS Excavator Operators to join their team across multiple project sites.

What You Will Be Doing

As a GPS Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for the below duties:

• Operating 3050 tonne Komatsu excavators fitted with GPS
• Performing bulk earthworks, detailed excavation, final trim and trenching
• Placing, spreading, levelling and stockpiling soil, rock and rubble
• Working safely around underground services and existing infrastructure
• Maintaining accurate excavation levels and site specifications

What You Will Need

To be successful in this role you will need to have the below:

• Minimum 2 years' recent GPS excavator operating experience
• Current Excavator Ticket
• Current Construction White Card
• Current Driver's Licence and reliable transport
• Multiskilled experience highly regarded
