Job summary

Access Aged Care is seeking General Practitioners to provide on-site care within Residential Aged Care Homes across Geelong and surrounding regions. This role offers weekday hours only, with no after-hours or on-call requirements, and includes dedicated nursing support to coordinate rounds and follow-up care.

Qualifications

Current AHPRA Specialist Registration as a General Practitioner.
RACGP or ACRRM Fellowship required (or nearing completion).
Availability of 1 day per week initially, with opportunity to increase.
Comfortable with technology, including system-based reporting and common clinical software.
A personal laptop is required to perform the duties of this role.

Responsibilities

Provide on-site GP care within Residential Aged Care Homes.
Deliver proactive, relationship-based care to residents.
Coordinate with nurses and telehealth specialists to plan care.
Utilize telehealth and integrated care tools to support resident outcomes.
