Job summary

Civica is seeking a Project Manager to lead local government software implementations and ensure successful delivery from initiation to go-live. You will work across councils, consultants, engineers and product specialists to deliver projects that improve citizen services, efficiency, and outcomes.

The role requires strong stakeholder management, governance, and the ability to coordinate multiple projects in a matrix environment. Flexible work options and hybrid offices support work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing software implementation, SaaS, ERP, or technology projects from initiation through go-live.
• Strong customer-facing stakeholder management skills with the ability to build trusted relationships.
• Experience in vendor, software provider, consulting, or implementation-partner environments.
• Experience coordinating multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of Civica's software implementations for local government customers.
• Manage projects from initiation through go-live and hypercare, including upgrades and migrations.
• Collaborate with councils, consultants, engineers and product specialists to ensure outcomes.
• Drive governance: RAID, budgeting, forecasting, progress reporting.
• Coordinate resources in a matrix environment and handle tight timelines.
• Identify risks early and implement proactive mitigation strategies.
