Job summary

Synergie Australia is seeking a Project Manager for a Rockhampton-based government project. The role demands coordinating building projects from pre-design to post-construction, managing design, contract administration, and multi-disciplinary teams.

You will monitor scope, schedule, budget, cash flow and quality while leading negotiations with stakeholders and ensuring value-for-money outcomes. Required: current General Construction Induction card and proven building PM experience; tertiary

Qualifications

• Demonstrated building project management experience.
• Knowledge of construction contract administration.
• Experience managing traditional or non-traditional contracts.
• Strong cost, schedule, cash-flow and quality-management skills.
• Experience coordinating consultants, contractors and project teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate building projects from pre-design through to post-construction.
• Manage design, documentation and contract administration activities.
• Coordinate project staff, consultants, contractors and business units.
• Monitor project scope, schedule, budget, cash flow and quality.
• Lead negotiations with consultants, contractors and local authorities.
• Identify and deliver practical, value-for-money solutions.
• Generate exception reports relating to project time and cost.
• Conduct project audits and evaluate project-team performance.
• Report project progress and potential delays to senior management.
