Job summary

Sydney Metro is seeking a Governance Officer to join the Commercial Governance & Controls team in the Finance & Commercial Division. You will help deliver governance framework development, analysis, reporting and stakeholder engagement to improve procurement and commercial outcomes.

This fixed-term, full-time role is based in Sydney with hybrid working arrangements and a close collaboration with the broader team driving governance improvements and controls.

Qualifications

• Strong research, analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret complex information.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
• Experience across governance, policy, procurement and contract management environments.
• Proven ability to deliver accurate reporting and support compliance activities.
• Experience in developing and maintaining procurement and contract management templates and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Governance framework development, implementation and assurance activities to support improved procurement and commercial business outcomes and decision making.
• Perform governance framework activities including research, analysis, reporting, stakeholder engagement and supporting the development and continuous improvement of governance processes and documentation.
