Job summary

Authentic Security in Sydney seeks a practical Governance & Continuous Improvement Manager to coordinate governance, risk, assurance and improvement activities across Australia. You will work with operational leaders to embed robust controls, evidence, and reporting into day‑to‑day operations.

The role requires hands‑on experience in governance, risk, compliance or continuous improvement, with strong stakeholder engagement and the ability to manage competing priorities.

Qualifications

• Experience in governance, risk, compliance, assurance or continuous improvement.
• Experience in an operational, regulated or service‑based environment.
• A practical understanding of risk and control frameworks and exposure to audit or assurance.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, written communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the Australian governance, risk and control framework.
• Support operational teams to maintain effective controls and appropriate evidence.
• Coordinate internal and external audit and assurance activities, including remediation of findings.
• Maintain key governance registers and provide clear management reporting on risks, controls and actions.
• Identify emerging risks, recurring issues and opportunities for improvement.
• Support incident, breach and root‑cause review processes and track corrective actions to closure.
• Coordinate relevant third‑party and subcontractor governance activities.
• Partner with operational leaders to improve processes, consistency and business performance.
• Provide practical guidance to managers and control owners across Australia.
