Job summary

Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA) invites applications for an Advisor to develop, implement and improve our internal governance framework. You will apply governance expertise and sound judgement to facilitate oversight, decision-making and accountability across APRA’s executive governance committees.

Reporting to the Head of Governance, you will work with internal and external stakeholders to align governance arrangements with strategic objectives and regulatory obligations.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering governance materials for senior stakeholders.
• Ability to assess governance risk and balance business priorities.
• Background in regulatory or financial services environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support executive decision making by coordinating committees, managing agendas and providing timely and accurate information.
• Provide advice to business areas to ensure effective presentation of agenda items and alignment to priorities.
• Monitor governance decisions and actions to support accountability and timely implementation.
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve governance processes and practices.
• Support compliance with governance requirements and regulatory obligations.
