Job summary

Profectus is seeking an experienced Project Manager to deliver a registry modernisation program for an Australian Government agency in Canberra. The role covers scope, schedule and budget, leading cross-functional teams and aligning with sprint cadences while handing over to business-as-usual.

Key qualifications include 5+ years managing technology-enabled projects in government, experience with CRM and data migration, and certification in PRINCE2, PMP or Agile PM/Scrum.

Qualifications

• Experience in government or regulated environments.
• Agile and hybrid delivery experience.
• Scheduling, financial tracking, RAID and reporting.
• Stakeholder management with business and technical teams.
• Managing vendor and partner dependencies.
• CRM, low-code, integration or data migration projects.
• Mainframe or legacy system replacement.
• Registry, licensing or regulatory environments.
• PRINCE2, PMP, Agile PM or Scrum certification.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lead and deliver a project within the program’s governance and delivery cadence.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, resources, quality, risks, issues and dependencies.
• Lead cross-functional teams of analysts, engineers, testers, designers and change specialists.
• Align project plans with sprint and release cadences and program milestones.
• Prepare project status reports and contribute to workstream and program reporting.
• Work with policy, legal and business owners to secure approvals before implementation.
• Manage handover of deliverables into business-as-usual operations.
• Pair with agency project officers and hand over project management practice and tools.
• Contribute templates and lessons learned to the program’s delivery playbook.
