Profectus is seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead a set of registry products on a modernisation program for an Australian Government agency. The registries are moving from legacy systems to Dynamics 365, OutSystems/.NET, Databricks, Boomi, AWS and Azure.

The role covers product direction, backlog prioritisation, user and stakeholder engagement, and measuring product value after release. You will set vision and roadmaps, work with policy and legal experts, and coach agency product

• 7+ years in product management or product ownership for digital services.

• Leave product strategy, roadmap and prioritisation practices the agency can sustain.

Profectus is seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead a set of registry products on a modernisation program within an Australian Government agency. The registries are moving from an ADABAS/Natural mainframe, Siebel CRM and Lotus Notes environment to Dynamics 365, OutSystems/.NET, Databricks, Boomi, AWS and Azure. The work covers product direction and roadmaps, backlog prioritisation, user and stakeholder engagement and measuring product value after release.

Key Responsibilities

• Set the vision, outcomes and roadmap for a subset of registry products within program scope
• Prioritise backlogs to maximise business value and user outcomes
• Engage registry users, business owners, and policy and legal experts to understand needs and constraints
• Work with designers on human-centred design and with engineers on delivery
• Define measures of product value and track outcomes after release
• Make sure product decisions reflect legislative requirements and have agency approval

Required Experience

• 7+ years in product management or product ownership for digital services

• Coaching product owners or product managers

Desirable Experience

• Registries, licensing, case management or CRM platforms such as Dynamics 365
• Australian Government digital services and the Digital Service Standard
• Legacy modernisation programs
• Product management certification such as Pragmatic or CSPO

Security Clearance Requirements

• Must be an Australian Citizen
• Must have a current AGSVA Baseline Security Clearance (minimum)

Working Arrangements

• Onsite at client premises
• Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Brisbane or Traralgon (VIC)
