Job summary

Ribs & Burgers Brisbane is seeking an experienced Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. You will be responsible for all food preparation, setup and pack down, and ensuring consistent quality and presentation across our menu of burgers, ribs and sides.

You must have a minimum Certificate III Commercial Cookery or 1–3 years of relevant experience, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with high standards of hygiene and safety.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of relevant employment experience.
• Certificate III Commercial Cookery qualification.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment with high pressure.
• Produce quality product with exceptional presentation.
• Excellent personal hygiene and presentation.
• Flexibility to work a 7-day rotating roster including weekends and nights.

Responsibilities

• Complete all food preparation, set up and pack down of the kitchen.
• Coordinate and maintain the quality of food and presentation of all meals.
• Conduct kitchen quality control measures including stock management, daily checklists and cleaning rosters.
• Ensure OH&S/WH&S compliance including kitchen cleanliness and staff/customer safety.
