Job summary

Mornington Peninsula Shire is seeking a reliable team player to maintain golf course conditions at Mount Martha Public Golf course. The role requires mowing, turf maintenance and general grounds upkeep, with a focus on safe operation of equipment and adherence to safety practices.

The position is temporary part-time, offering 15.2 hours per week, with potential to increase to 22.8 hours during daylight saving months.

Qualifications

• Experience in turf, grounds or golf course maintenance.
• Skilled in the safe operation of plant and equipment.
• Knowledge of turf management principles, including irrigation, pests and weeds.
• Dependable and proactive work ethic with outdoor work ability.
• Collaborative team player with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Golf Course Presentation and Playability to high standards.
• Operate plant, machinery and irrigation systems safely and effectively.
• Support Grounds and Facility Maintenance to ensure a safe, welcoming environment.
• Contribute to a Safe and High-Performing Team with daily maintenance programs.
