Job summary

Barto Gold is seeking an experienced Processing Supervisor to join our gold mining processing operations on an 8/6 DS 7/7 NS roster in Western Australia. You will oversee the processing plant to maximise output, lead a team, and coordinate with maintenance for timely problem resolution.

Key responsibilities include optimizing equipment performance, maintaining safety and regulatory compliance, managing reagents and shift documentation, and driving a culture of excellence within a high-performing

Qualifications

• 5 years’ working knowledge in the operation of a gold plant is essential.
• Schedule 26 Statutory Supervisor Certificate (mandatory).
• BSBWHS411 Implement and monitor WHS policies, procedures and programs (mandatory).
• RIIRIS402E - Carry out the risk management process (mandatory).
• Competent in crushing, grinding, control room, leaching, gravity and gold room sections.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily plant operations to maintain optimal output and efficiency.
• Monitor and adjust equipment and parameters to meet production targets.
• Ensure safety, environmental, and legislative standards are followed, especially tailings and water systems.
• Lead, train and mentor Process Operators to build team capability.
• Manage reagent usage and inventory for cost efficiency.
