Job summary

Westgold Resources is seeking experienced personnel for a permanent full-time role at our Fortnum Processing Plant in Western Australia. You will establish shift strategies, monitor plant performance and lead a safety-focused team in a busy gold processing environment.

The role requires extensive hands-on operation knowledge, regulatory compliance, and strong leadership to sustain efficient production while supporting employee development.

Qualifications

• Current C Class Manual WA driver's licence.
• Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a gold processing plant.
• Section 26 Statutory Supervisor Certificate.
• Experience with Sag/Ball Mill operations.
• Experience with SCADA and PLC systems.
• CMMS such as Pronto (desirable).
• Strong knowledge of ore processing and processing functions.
• Sound WHS and WA mining acts understanding.
• Certifications: Working at Heights, Confined Space Entry & Gas Test Atmospheres.
• First Aid Certification (including CPR).
• Proficient Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish shift strategies to minimise disruption to the gold process.
• Monitor plant operating processes including water usage and dam levels.
• Liaise with gold room personnel for gravity, elution and gold room activities.
• Operate process control systems using IGNITION.
• Identify and diagnose maintenance needs and repairs.
• Identify ways to improve output or efficiency of the plant.
• Lead the workplace culture focusing on safety and productivity.
• Mentor and lead your team.
• Liaise with contractors and stakeholders as required.
