Job summary

Catalyst Metals Limited is seeking a Metallurgy Superintendent to lead the metallurgical function of the processing plant with a FIFO 8:6 roster from Perth, WA. The role focuses on maximizing gold recovery, production performance and operational efficiency.

You will mentor Metallurgy, Laboratory, Gold Room and Processing personnel, oversee metallurgical accounting and drive continuous improvement initiatives across Operations, Mining and Geology.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Metallurgy or related engineering field.
• Experience leading metallurgical operations, preferably in gold processing.
• Proven leadership, mentoring and team development capabilities.
• WA SSE or equivalent qualification is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead metallurgical activities to maximise gold recovery and plant performance.
• Monitor parameters, reagent consumption and budgets to ensure targets.
• Oversee metallurgical accounting, forecasting and reporting with accuracy.
• Provide technical leadership to Metallurgy, Laboratory, Gold Room and Processing teams.
• Identify and deliver metallurgical optimisation projects to improve recovery and cost performance.
• Manage metallurgical test work and input to mine planning and budgeting.
