Job summary

Regis Resources is seeking an experienced Processing Operations Superintendent to lead the Duketon South processing team. This FIFO role (8:6 roster) from Perth will deliver safe, efficient and cost-effective production while driving continuous improvement.

You will oversee plant performance, cost control and budget management, liaise with operations, maintenance and suppliers, and develop a high-performing, safety-conscious team culture at site.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in metallurgy, chemical engineering, process engineering, or a related discipline.
• Extensive proven experience in a superintendent processing operations role in gold CIL processing.
• Strong interpersonal skills with inclusive, results-oriented leadership.
• Leadership and people development capability with high-performing teams.
• Visible safety leadership with exceptional safety results.
• Planning, scheduling, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience with continuous improvement methodologies and business improvement programs.
• Commercial acumen with budgeting, costs and operational performance.
• Computer literacy across Excel, PowerPoint, Qlik and Pronto.

Responsibilities

• Lead the processing operations team to safely and effectively deliver planned production targets.
• Promote and instil a strong safety culture.
• Lead process supervisors, coordinators, training advisors, and operators to build a high-performance team culture.
• Implement fit-for-purpose operating systems including safety, production, planning meetings, handovers and pre-starts.
• Ensure plant production volume, cost, and quality are on or ahead of budget.
• Monitor operations and key metallurgical performance indicators, recommending corrective actions to maximise efficiency.
• Oversee crushing, processing, assaying, gold recovery and security activities.
• Develop bottom-up operational and capital cost budgets, monitor expenditure and provide monthly cost/variance reports.
• Support maintenance planning and provide technical input into plant improvements.
• Lead continuous improvement and business improvement initiatives.
