Job summary

Regis Resources, a leading Australian gold producer, seeks an experienced Underground Alternate Manager (Mining Superintendent) to join the Duketon underground operations on a FIFO roster (8:6). Reporting to the Underground Mining Manager, you will lead a team of Superintendents to ensure safety, production performance and value delivery for the underground mining group.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering.
• WA First Class Mine Managers Certificate of Competency.
• Advanced MS Excel and Deswik capability.

Responsibilities

• Stand in for the Underground Mining Manager during rostered time off.
• Lead Health, Safety and Environmental standards across the underground operation.
• Manage and supervise the underground mining contractor.
• Ensure mining activities and expenditures align with strategies, priorities, programs and budgets.
• Develop accurate mining schedules and maintain records and information systems to a high standard.
• Mentor and coordinate the Rosemont underground technical team.
