HSBC Bank Australia Limited is seeking a senior product lead for Global Trade Solutions to drive product strategy, partnerships and commercialisation across Australia and New Zealand. You will collaborate with global and regional teams to deliver market-leading trade finance products and digital initiatives.

The role requires deep global trade finance knowledge, strategic thinking, and strong stakeholder management, with leadership experience and the ability to influence across multiple regions.

Qualifications

• Significant global trade finance experience, especially Structured Trade Finance.
• Strategic thinker with ability to drive innovative product ideas.
• Knowledge of market practices, digital platforms and Fintechs with trade finance experience.
• Strong stakeholder management across Australia and New Zealand.
• Independent contributor with leadership experience.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.
• Knowledge of product methodologies and tools.
• Understanding of processes, information flows, security and architecture.

Responsibilities

• Design go-to-market product strategy with internal and external stakeholders in Australia & NZ.
• Lead a small team and oversee product execution.
• Stay ahead of market developments in digital platforms for GTS ANZ.
• Drive product and platform commercialisation with front-line sales teams.
• Identify and prioritise product enhancements with regional/global teams.
• Oversee governance of products to meet local regulations.
