Qualifications

• Significant leadership experience at Executive Manager/Head of Operations level or equivalent.
• Operational leadership within financial services, with Trade Finance/Institutional Banking or Markets Operations experience valued.
• Proven track record delivering large-scale transformation, simplification and technology-enabled change.
• Strong risk management capability in complex regulatory environments.
• Ability to influence across senior stakeholder groups including business, technology, risk and control functions.
• Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving and prioritisation skills.
• Experience leading large geographically dispersed teams and building high-performing cultures.
• Outstanding communication and stakeholder management, able to articulate complex concepts to executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end operations across Trade Finance products including Imports, Exports, Trade Advances, Structured Trade Solutions and International Bank Guarantees.
• Ensure safe, stable and efficient operational performance with a strong customer focus.
• Drive the Trade transformation and modernisation roadmap: process simplification, automation, digitisation and AI-enabled capabilities.
• Create a strong risk culture through management of operational, compliance, regulatory and conduct risk obligations.
• Own and enhance key controls within the operational risk framework for ongoing effectiveness and compliance.
• Partner with Product, Technology, Sales, Coverage, Financial Crime and COO to deliver integrated outcomes.
• Use insights to identify opportunities and prioritise investment and change initiatives.
• Lead and inspire a high-performing national workforce; foster accountability, innovation and continuous improvement.
• Manage relationships with external vendors and service partners to optimise performance and customer outcomes.
