Qualifications

• Significant leadership experience in Executive Manager/Head of Operations or equivalent.
• Deep experience in financial services operations, especially Trade Finance or Institutional Banking.
• Proven track record delivering large-scale transformation and technology-enabled change.
• Strong risk management capability in complex regulatory environments.
• Ability to partner with senior stakeholders across business, technology, risk and control functions.
• Exceptional strategic thinking and prioritisation skills.
• Experience leading large geographically dispersed teams and building high-performance cultures.
• Outstanding communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Global Trade Operations, ensuring safe, compliant and efficient delivery across customer servicing and product lifecycle.
• Drive operational excellence, risk management, regulatory compliance and transformation.
• Partner with Product, Technology, Institutional Banking & Markets, Financial Crime and COO teams to modernise processes.
• Deliver AI-enabled customer journeys through transformation and vendor collaboration.
• Oversee a national team, fostering accountability, innovation and continuous improvement.
• Own and enhance key controls within the operational risk framework.
• Manage relationships with external vendors and service partners to optimise performance.
• Inform investment and change priorities using operational, customer, financial and risk insights.
