Job summary

Qantas Airways in Sydney is seeking a System Implementation Lead - Operations and Logistics (TMS) to drive the deployment of Manhattan TMS across Qantas Engineering Supply Chain. You will shape route design, carrier integration and shipment visibility to optimise freight operations globally.

Lead testing, training and onboarding of freight providers, with a fixed term contract to 31 August 2028. Strong stakeholder engagement and aviation-regulated logistics expertise are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing, testing or supporting a TMS, ideally Manhattan TMS, or similar enterprise transport tech.
• Strong knowledge of transport orders, shipment consolidation, carrier integration, and delivery visibility.

Responsibilities

• Design and validate global freight routes and cost structures for optimisation and service.
• Support creation, configuration and tracking of routes and transport orders for ports.
• Onboard freight forwarding providers and ensure integration with Qantas tech.
• Validate transport workflows across Manhattan TMS, Maintenix and Oracle.
• Build and maintain test scripts and contribute to knowledge materials.
• Create and deliver training for transport and planning teams on TMS processes.
