Uber is seeking an experienced Employee Relations Manager to navigate complex workplace challenges in a fast-paced environment. You will investigate concerns, coach leaders, and partner with Legal and HR to ensure fair, compliant practices across a global scale.

You thrive in high-volume situations, balance empathy with decisive action, and mentor management teams while shaping people-centric policies and processes that reduce risk and improve the employee experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Advanced degree (JD or Master’s) or mediation certification preferred.
• Experience in Employee Relations, HR, or employment law.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough investigations into workplace concerns including harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and policy violations while managing deadlines.
• Navigate high-ambiguity situations by applying conflict resolution techniques to solve disputes.
• Coach and mentor management through difficult employment decisions and policy applications.
• Analyze employee relations trends to generate actionable recommendations that mitigate risk.
• Collaborate with Legal and HR teams to ensure consistent investigation processes.
• Deliver training on management best practices and HR policies to build capability across the organization.
