Job summary

Dentons is seeking a Global Security Operations Engineer to strengthen threat detection, investigation, and response across a distributed APAC/global environment. The role leads complex investigations, develops detection capabilities, and builds automation to shift from reactive alerts to an intelligence-led security operating model.

Based in APAC, you will collaborate with global teams and drive continuous security improvement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in security operations, incident response, or detection engineering in SOC.
• Proven experience leading complex investigations end to end and remediation.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior escalation point for security incidents and own complex events across regions.
• Design, tune, and maintain detection content mapped to MITRE ATT&CK framework and automate alerting.
• Develop automated response playbooks (Logic Apps, SOAR) to reduce mean time to detect and respond.
• Conduct proactive threat hunting and translate findings into actionable detections and controls.
