Job summary

Fuseco, an established electrical solutions distributor with 30 years in the industry, invites a skilled Purchasing Officer to join our Melbourne team in Cheltenham. You will manage high volumes of indent orders, handle imports, and keep ERP data accurate to support swift, reliable customer service.

The role is full-time, based on site in Melbourne, with training and a group bonus, and opportunities for long-term growth within a dynamic, collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in international purchasing, importing, or supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Purchasing operations: manage and issue a high volume of daily indent orders.
• Prepayments & order processing: organise vendor prepayments for orders that need to be paid upon confirmation.
• System & data accuracy: update supplier order confirmations, backorders, ETAs and EDDs daily.
• Import logistics, customs & freight: arrange freight quotes, bookings, and clearance paperwork.
• Customer returns & credit management: process returns and issue credits.
• Supply chain customer support: proactively communicate status updates and support customer requirements.
