Job summary

International Poles is seeking an organised procurement and supply chain professional to lead international purchasing, imports, logistics and inventory operations in NSW. The role, reporting to the General Manager, combines procurement and supervision of Warehouse and Project Facilitation teams, with roughly 70% hands-on procurement and logistics and the rest in supervision, reporting and systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement or supply chain operations
• Manufacturing or industrial distribution experience
• Degree in Supply Chain or related field is an advantage
• Strong international purchasing and import logistics
• Stock/inventory management experience
• Team supervision or coordination experience
• Strong Excel and ERP experience (NetSuite preferred)
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Organised hands-on with ability to prioritise

Responsibilities

• Manage international and local purchasing, supplier relations, and stock replenishment
• Coordinate overseas suppliers, import orders, container planning, and international freight
• Negotiate freight rates, monitor shipping schedules, and optimise landed costs
• Oversee inventory accuracy, stock availability, and warehouse operations
• Supervise and support Warehouse and Project Facilitation teams, setting priorities
• Maintain purchasing, inventory and pricing data within the ERP system
• Develop operational reports, monitor performance and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Drive continuous improvement across procurement, logistics and processes
