Job summary

Carroll Consulting Group in Brisbane is seeking a senior procurement and supply chain leader to drive end-to-end processes for overseas 3PL operations. You will shape a strategic framework across sourcing, inventory, logistics and compliance, reporting to a driven leadership team.

You will oversee supplier negotiations, implement system improvements (MRP-enabled environments such as SAP/JDE/Acumatica), and mentor a team to deliver measurable efficiency gains in a high-precision engineering

Qualifications

• End-to-end procurement and SCM in technical environments (automotive/aeronautical/precision engineering).
• Experience with international 3PLs and facilitation of cross-border operations.
• Strong background in BOMs, version control, and complex forecasts.

Responsibilities

• Conduct strategic supply chain reviews and optimize end-to-end processes.
• Negotiate with suppliers and manage international freight documentation.
• Develop and implement supply chain systems and governance.

About the role

High impact role. This ‘end to end’ influencing role is required to support the development and growth of the organisations overseas 3PL site whilst creating a strategic supply chain framework across the wider business. You will be working with and become part of an engaged and passionate leadership team.

Skills & experience

We seek an end-to-end procurement and supply chain professional with international experience. A background with BOMs complexity and version control. You will have demonstratable experience across strategic sourcing, forecasting, warehousing and logistics in a high precision engineering or technical environment. Bringing a collaborative ‘hands on’ and coaching demeanour, you will be able to guide and influence internal and external parties that do not necessarily report directly to this role.

• Procurement and supply chain management in a technical environment such as automotive, aeronautical or precision engineering - BOMs and version controls
• International experience working collaboratively with 3PL sites
• International logistics, documentation and freight forwarder management
• Demonstratable experience operationalising an end-to-end supply chain framework
• Strategic sourcing
• Inventory management

• Advanced analytical skills using MRP in a manufacturing environment (Acumatica, SAP, JDE)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Exposure to warehousing / inventory 5s and lean principles
• Industry body experience such as CIPS or APICS is sought, also degree qualifications will be seen favourable, but more importantly will be your relevant background and experience
