Job summary

Talent Matters is seeking an experienced payroll professional to support end-to-end payroll across Australia, New Zealand, Canada, the USA, the UK and South East Asia. The role involves data cleansing, systems preparation and payroll technology improvements, while ensuring payroll runs accurately and on time.

You will own key payroll activities, work with Payroll, HR, Finance and external providers, and manage pay deadlines across multiple time zones with discretion.

Qualifications

• Solid end-to-end Australian payroll experience.
• Strong knowledge of Fair Work, modern awards, superannuation and PAYG.
• NZ payroll experience will be highly regarded.
• Experience with cloud-based payroll platforms, ideally Employment Hero.
• SAP or SAP SuccessFactors experience will be highly regarded.
• Experience with payroll data cleansing, validation or migration.
• Strong reconciliation, numerical and advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end payroll processing across multiple countries, entities and pay cycles.
• Ensure payroll is processed accurately and within strict pay deadlines.
• Support payroll data cleansing, validation and systems preparation.
• Assist with payroll systems improvements, data migration and technology initiatives.
• Respond to employee payroll queries with professionalism and confidentiality.
• Support compliance with relevant payroll legislation and requirements.
• Complete payroll reconciliations and reporting for Finance, including month-end, year-end and audit requirements.
• Work across multiple time zones and partner with stakeholders to resolve payroll matters efficiently.
