Job summary

Remote is a fully remote company delivering global payroll solutions. We seek a Payroll Specialist Lead to join the Global Payroll Operations Team and lead end-to-end payroll across international settings.

The role emphasizes asynchronous collaboration, data integrity, and process excellence. You will engage with stakeholders across Finance, Product and Engineering, driving improvements and mentoring team members.

Qualifications

• End-to-end payroll processing experience.
• Knowledge of payroll best practices.
• Proficient in Excel/Google Suite.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, international environment.

Responsibilities

• Act as subject matter expert for the country.
• Manage relationships with Payroll Implementation, Finance, Product, Engineers.
• Process full end-to-end payroll in-house with statutory filings, exceptions, approvals, payments and compliance.
• Ensure data integrity and quality.
• Run payroll journals/reconciliations.
• Focus on KPIs and SLAs.
• Implement and improve processes.
• Mentor and support payroll specialists.
• Back up regional managers during absences.
