Job summary

Remote is seeking a Payroll Specialist Lead to join our Global Payroll Operations team. You will own end-to-end payroll processes, ensure data integrity, and drive KPI/ SLA outcomes across our international operations.

You will mentor payroll specialists, collaborate with Finance, Product, and Engineering, and thrive in a largely asynchronous, fully remote environment with competitive benefits.

• End-to-end payroll experience in a global context.
• Knowledge of payroll best practices and compliance.
• Strong Excel/Google Sheets proficiency.

• Comfort with asynchronous work culture.
• Fluent English written and spoken.
• Remote work experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME for the country within Payroll Operations.
• Manage relationships with Payroll Implementation, Finance, Product, Engineers.
• Process full end-to-end payroll in-house, including filings and approvals.
• Ensure data integrity and quality across payroll data.
• Run payroll journals and reconciliations; monitor KPIs/SLAs.
• Implement and improve payroll processes.
• Mentor and support payroll specialists.
• Back up regional managers during absences.
