Job summary

The University of Sydney seeks an experienced leader to head Global Partnerships and grow international sponsorship opportunities within Sydney Future Students' International team. You will lead a small team, develop relationships with governments, scholarship bodies, sponsors and international partners to boost sponsored enrolments and support the University's internationalisation strategy.

Qualifications

Demonstrated leadership experience in international education, partnerships or student recruitment.
Proven ability to build and manage strategic relationships with government agencies and sponsors.
Strong business development skills to identify opportunities and drive growth.
Excellent communication, negotiation and cross-cultural relationship management.
Deep understanding of factors influencing international student recruitment and sponsorship programs.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategies to grow sponsored student enrolments and expand the sponsorship portfolio.
Build and maintain strategic relationships with sponsors, government agencies, embassies and scholarship bodies.
Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team delivering exceptional service and operational excellence.
Act as primary liaison with sponsors and government stakeholders on strategic sponsorship matters.
Identify market opportunities, deliver business development initiatives and advise on recruitment growth.
Represent the University locally and internationally through partnerships and events.
