Job summary

Ourclient is seeking a Service Manager based in Perth, Australia, to lead service operations for marine capital equipment. The role involves directing a team of Service Engineers, coordinating field service across Australia and New Zealand, and delivering safe, reliable outcomes for installation, maintenance, and overhauls.

You will act as the primary technical focal point, ensure compliance with OEM instructions, and drive customer satisfaction while managing safety and commercial

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Marine, or related engineering discipline.
• 8–10 years of experience in marine, heavy mechanical, or field service operations.
• Experience leading service engineers and subcontractors in a multi-site environment.
• Willingness to undertake domestic and international travel.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prioritise, and coordinate field service, workshop, and commissioning activities across Australia, New Zealand, and the wider region.
• Lead local technical focal point for installation, troubleshooting, and repairs of specialized marine equipment.
• Mentor and lead a team of Service Engineers and Technical Support staff.
• Demonstrate leadership in health, safety, and manage subcontract requirements.
