Job summary

Expeditors International is seeking an entry-level Global Logistics Operations Agent at Banksmeadow NSW to support timely movement of freight and information, while delivering excellent customer service. The role may rotate into Import Air, Import Ocean, Transcon, Export Air, Export Ocean, and Customs Brokerage Operations.

You will handle shipment processing, data entry, and customer interactions, contributing to KPI targets and continuous improvement in a global logistics network.

Responsibilities

• Receive documents, prepare shipments, route shipments, manage freight receipts, monitor shipments, and send status updates
• Ensure accurate and timely data entry into operational systems, per KPI's and standards
• Interact with internal and external customers, arranging shipment deliveries and meeting customer service standards
• Ensure accurate and timely shipment processing and data entry
• Work to ensure internal and external compliance regulations are met
• Look for best practices to improve efficiency and productivity
• Action shipment or account queries, ensuring effective follow up is performed
• Ensure all emails are read, actioned, and responded to on the same day as received
• Effective time management and prioritizing of assigned workload
• Ensure all training is completed within the branch due date
