Job summary

Customs Agency Services (CAS) in Adelaide is seeking a Logistics Specialist to manage daily freight operations and act as a trusted advisor on transport and distribution. You will balance precision with pace, keeping shipments compliant and deliveries seamless while supporting continuous improvement across the team.

You will coordinate FCL, LCL and airfreight from booking to delivery, lead AQIS and customs compliance, and drive efficiencies using CargoWise.

Qualifications

3+ years of international freight forwarding experience in Australia.
Strong working knowledge of AQIS and customs requirements.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Advanced Excel and Office 365 skills.
Strong customer service skills and a positive, friendly nature.
CargoWise One experience (preferred, not essential).
A current police check, or the ability to complete one immediately.

Responsibilities

Coordinate daily FCL, LCL and airfreight shipments from booking to delivery.
Lead AQIS and customs compliance, including pay-in entries and fumigation/inspection bookings.
Keep every job accurate in CargoWise, including loading invoices to each job.
Monitor deliveries closely, ensuring deadlines are met and documentation is spot-on.
Protect margins by ensuring empty containers are collected and dehired within free time.
