Talison Lithium's Greenbushes operation is seeking a on-site Geotechnical Support Technician to assist the Geotechnical Engineering team in safely executing activities and maintaining monitoring systems on site in Greenbushes, WA.
The successful candidate will perform data entry, deploy slope monitoring infrastructure and assist with field investigations, with DIDO camp options and a strong focus on safety and performance.
Reporting to the Senior Geotechnical Engineer, this role is ideal for someone looking to build a career in the Geotechnical field, providing operational support to the Geotechnical Engineering team, ensuring the safe and efficient execution of geotechnical activities within the open pit mine.
Based on-site in Greenbushes, this position includes the option for Drive-in, Drive-out (DIDO) candidates to reside at our newly established camp. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high performing team and play a key role in enhancing performance at one of the world's largest lithium operations.
Responsibilities include:

Basic mechanical aptitude, including the ability to inspect, maintain and troubleshoot geotechnical monitoring systems and associated power systems;
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications, simple database management and accurate data entry;
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks; and
Effective time management skills.
