Job summary

Talison Lithium is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead frontline maintenance across fixed plant assets at the Greenbushes operation in Western Australia. You will coordinate daily schedules, supervise technicians and contractors, and drive reliability improvements while maintaining a strong safety culture.

The role partners with Operations, Planning and Engineering to align maintenance with production goals and budget delivery.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in mining or heavy industrial maintenance.
• Proven leadership to develop high-performing teams.
• Fixed plant maintenance, asset reliability and planning principles.
• Experience using CMMS systems (ideally SAP) for work management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of maintenance technicians, apprentices and contractors.
• Coordinate and execute planned, preventive, and breakdown maintenance across fixed plant assets.
• Foster a proactive safety culture and ensure compliance with site and statutory requirements.
• Collaborate with Operations, Planning and Engineering to maximise equipment reliability and plant availability.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce downtime and improve maintenance performance.
• Monitor maintenance KPIs and ensure accurate reporting and work order management in CMMS.
• Manage contractor performance and ensure safe, efficient completion to high standards.
• Provide coaching, mentoring and leadership to support team development and operational success.

About the Role

Reporting to the Maintenance Coordinator, the Maintenance Supervisor provides frontline leadership across all fixed plant maintenance activities, ensuring work is executed safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

As part of the continued expansion of our Maintenance Department, we are seeking multiple maintenance professionals across a range of disciplines. This growth presents an exciting opportunity to join a developing team and contribute to the ongoing success and reliability of our operation.

This pivotal role is responsible for coordinating daily maintenance schedules, supervising technicians, contractors and leading hands, and ensuring maintenance activities are delivered in line with production, reliability, and compliance objectives. The successful candidate will foster a strong safety culture, drive asset reliability improvements, maintain statutory compliance and support the effective delivery of maintenance plans and budgets.

• Monitor maintenance KPIs and ensure accurate reporting and work order management within the CMMS
• Manage contractor performance and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and leadership to support team development and operational success

About the Candidate:

• A relevant trade qualification and demonstrated experience in a mining, processing or heavy industrial maintenance environment
• Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate, coach and develop high-performing maintenance team
• Strong knowledge of fixed plant maintenance, asset reliability and maintenance planning principles
• Experience using CMMS systems (ideally SAP) for work management, reporting and maintenance execution
• A strong commitment to safety, with the ability to lead by example and foster a positive safety culture
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across Operations, Planning and Engineering teams
• Sound problem-solving and decision-making abilities, particularly in fast-paced operational environments
