Job summary

Genesis Minerals Limited is seeking a Superintendent Geotechnical – Operations to lead geotechnical performance across underground and open pit mining in Western Australia. Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Geotechnical Engineering, Mining Engineering, Engineering Geology or a related discipline.
• Significant geotechnical experience across underground and open pit mining environments.
• Strong technical expertise in ground control, rock mechanics, slope stability, monitoring and geotechnical risk management.
• Proven ability to integrate geotechnical advice into mine design, planning and operational execution.
• Demonstrated leadership experience with coaching, mentoring and developing people.

Responsibilities

• Lead geotechnical support across underground and open pit operations with a strong focus on ground control and risk.
• Ensure geotechnical management plans, TARPs, monitoring programs and inspections are effective.
• Interpret ground performance and monitoring data to identify emerging risks and guide responses.
• Provide technical oversight to strengthen risk controls and safe mining practices.
• Oversee monitoring systems, instrumentation, data integrity and technical reporting.
• Review and approve designs and risk assessments within delegated authority.
