Job summary

Chadwick Geotechnics in Victoria invites a Field & Laboratory Engineer to support our technical team across construction materials testing and geotechnical investigations. This is a 6-month fixed-term contract requiring a mix of practical fieldwork, laboratory testing, and reporting within a professional engineering environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction materials testing, geotechnical fieldwork, or NATA-accredited environments.
• Willingness to hold a Construction Industry Card (CIC) and a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to follow procedures and adhere to Australian standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing in accordance with Australian standards and codes of practice.
• Maintain knowledge of, and accreditation for, applicable NATA tests.
• Prepare accurate test reports and manage data records.
• Assist with soil and ground investigations, including logging and sampling.
• Support QA activities and continuous improvement of software systems.
