Job summary

IdealCorp in Sydney, NSW, is seeking a Civil Engineering Technician / Laboratory Technician for a full-time permanent role combining field work, laboratory testing and technical support within the construction environment.

You will conduct field and lab tests, collect and prepare samples, analyse results, and help prepare reports and QA documentation, contributing to geotechnical investigations and screw piling projects across NSW.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 1–2 years of relevant Australian employment.
• Experience in concrete, construction materials or laboratory testing is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field and laboratory testing in accordance with Australian Standards and project specifications.
• Collect, prepare and test samples and maintain accurate testing records.
• Analyse and interpret test results.
• Perform site sampling, inspections and field testing.
• Operate, calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment and testing instruments.
• Prepare test reports, technical summaries and compliance documentation.
• Support quality assurance, technical investigations and R&D activities.
